Pack the Chamber to Reappoint Harness
3rd Floor of Historic City Hall, 601 W. Jefferson St.
Inspector General Ed Harness' four-year term expires in November. Due to our collective voice, Mayor Greenberg has nominated him for reappointment.  This reappointment is critical for police accountability and reform in Louisville. However, the Metro Council Government Oversight/Audit & Appointments Committee recently voted not to recommend Mr. Harness’ reappointment despite the Mayor’s nomination.
Contact your Metro Council member and urge them to vote YES to reappoint Inspector General Ed Harness. Find your Council member  HERE . Also please contact Council President, Brent Ackerson and urge him to vote yes as well: Click Here
Metro Council will take a final vote on the appointment Thursday, November 13th at 6 pm.  Show up and pack the chamber!
